Winsert a Deere “Partner-Level Supplier” for 10th year

Winsert, Inc., a supplier of proprietary alloys and components, announced it has been recognized as a Partner-Level Supplier in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Co.’s highest supplier rating. Winsert has received partner-level status for 10 consecutive years and has been inducted into the John Deere Supplier Hall of Fame.

Winsert was recentlys named a "Partner-Level Supplier" for the 10th straight year by John Deere & Co. The company supplies valve seat inserts used in Deere engines built in the U.S., Mexico and France.

The Marinette, Wis.-based company was selected for the honors in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement. Winsert supplies valve seat inserts to John Deere’s operations in Waterloo, Iowa, Springfield, Mo., Torreon and Coahuila, Mexico, and Saran, France.

Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
