Walvoil Premieres at Agritechnica

Some new products in the field of mobile hydraulics will be presented at Agritechnica 2019 by Italy-based Walvoil.

The new DVS Series directional valves will be introduced at the show in Hannover, under the brand Hydrocontrol. These are a new family of sectional valves specifically designed for several applications, such as: forestry machines, skid steer loaders, mini dumpers, cranes, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, garbage compactors, hook and skip loaders, drilling rigs and forklifts.

Walvoil said, these valves have very exact control features and are smooth and precise in operation, all within a compact lightweight design. The DVS valves are available in several configurations and custom solutions; working sections have auxiliary valves and a wide range of interchangeable spools.

The DVS valves can be fitted with integrated proportional electrohydraulic controls, while special configuration for LS variable displacement pumps is available on request.

Walvoil will also introduce two new joystick products. First one is the new SVM320 hydraulic joystick, suitable for forestry applications and completely adaptable to customer’s needs thanks to the modularity of the fixing flanges and the huge number of combination possibilities via the compatibility with Walvoil’s whole range of products.

The design of the new joystick allows to manage and regulate flow rates with lower operating forces than the standard joystick range. A cast iron body ensures high durability, greater resistance to oil contamination and maintain unchanged features during the joystick life cycle.

The second is the special DJW joystick for ISObus and safety-related applications up to Performance Level d/SIL 2. This device was developed for telehandlers and is completely sealed and protected against water and dust ingress, according to protection standards IP67 and IPx9K.

The high performance hardware architecture allows the joystick to be used in ISOBUS applications where a modern user interface (colour and high resolution) is required. The DJW is suitable for 12V and 24V applications thanks to the 8 – 32V power supply input range.

The joystick features a high number of input pins, so it can collect all the signals of the handle (thumbwheels, push buttons, rocker switches, and others) and send them over the CANbus network with SAE J1939, CANopen, CANopen Safety or ISOBUS protocol. The component is suitable to match with the whole range of Walvoil handles.
