TE’s Sealed Mini Fuse Holder

TE Connectivity (TE) Industrial & Commercial Transportation has released a new environmentally sealed mini fuse holder. The new two position mini fuse holder is designed to be compact and incorporates an integrated mounting feature that allows it to be mounted in space-restricted areas in agricultural machinery, construction equipment or heavy- and medium-duty trucks.
The fuse holder can accommodate two active fuses and two spares and uses standard mini fuses. In the event of a power surge, the mini fuse is designed to break the circuit, which protects the rest of the electrical system.
The holder environmentally sealed, meeting IP67 standards, and is engineered to handle extreme conditions such as high vibration and being submerged in up to 3.0 ft. of water. It accepts TE’s AMP MCP 2.8 contacts and is available for OE or retrofit applications, the company said.
