Ruiz Leading Eaton Hydraulics

Eaton has named Paulo Ruiz president of the company’s Hydraulics Group. Located in Eden Prairie, Minn., he reports to Uday Yadav, president and chief operating officer, Industrial Sector and succeeded Curt Hutchins, who now leads the spin-off of Eaton’s Lighting business.

Ruiz joined Eaton after spending more than 18 years with Siemens serving in a variety of strategic positions around the world. Most recently, he was chief executive officer of Dresser-Rand – A Siemens Business. In that position, he was responsible for integrating Siemens’ rotating equipment business within Dresser-Rand. Ruiz also ran the Bushings, Instrument Transformer and Coils business, Energy Transmission Division, and was director for the High Voltage Business Unit for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

Prior to Siemens, Ruiz spent six years with Fiat, where he held roles in operations, commercial and engineering.
