Resolute Industrial expands US operations

US company Resolute Industrial, which rents and sells temperature control and power equipment, has expanded its rental division with the acquisition of All American Portable Air (AAPA).

AAPA, which was founded in 2007, offers temporary cooling, heating and power generation products from its branches in Sanford, Florida and Nashville, Tennessee.

The deal was agreed for an undisclosed amount and will see Indiana-based Resolute Industrial further expand into Tennessee.

Mike McGraw, CEO of Resolute, said, “This acquisition broadens our existing geographic presence into the Nashville market, allowing us to maximize our sales channel reach and drive additional growth.

“We welcome the All American Portable Air team to the Mobile Air & Power Rentals family.”

AAPA’s founder, Roscoe Nesmith, will continue to lead the company with all other staff members retaining their positions.

Described by Resolute Industrial as a “strong presence in the event industry”, AAPA will now operate under the company’s rental division, Mobile Air & Power Rentals. The division comprises a total of 30 branches nationwide and also operates 24-hour disaster relief services that provide emergency air and power equipment across America’s east coast and gulf region.

Resolute Industrial is part of private equity group AE Industrial Partners, which operates in the aerospace, defense & government, space and power generation sectors.

In February of this year AE Industrial acquired engineering and environmental firm company ENERCON, and last year it invested in a total of 18 companies.
