New MD for Yanmar EMEA

Yanmar Compact Equipment (YCE) has appointed José Cuadrado as managing director of the EMEA region. The appointment is effective immediately.

In his new role, Cuadrado will be responsible for development of the regional capabilities, together with ‘customer success’. According to a statement from the company, he will play an important role in establishing YCE as a global leader in the compact equipment industry.

Cuadrado has 20 years of experience from working in the construction, industrial and automotive industries. He has had roles in product management, aftermarket support, digital transformation and company strategy.

Most recently, Cuadrado was CEO of Ireland-based ride-and-handling specialist Timoney Technology.

Cuadrado will report to Giuliano Parodi, Global CEO of Yanmar Compact Equipment, said: “The EMEA region is a powerful driver of our global business, and I am confident that under José Cuadrado’s leadership Yanmar Compact Equipment has a positive catalyst for change, one that will support the interests of customers, dealers, suppliers, employees and the wider community.”
