Holt adds industrial rentals division

Texas-based Caterpillar dealer Holt has created a specialty industrial rentals division to operate in Texas.

The division, Holt Industrial Rentals, a sister company to Holt Cat, Texas First Rentals and Holt Manufacturing, will rent power (gensets, distribution, load banks), climate control equipment (chillers, air conditioners, heaters), and air compressors and dryers.

The company said industries including oil and gas, events and manufacturing were turning to rental as they faced challenges in expanding facilities, on construction work and in response to climate-based issues.

In addition, said Holt, there was a need for temporary equipment to support outages, maintenance, equipment reconditioning and business expansion.

The division will be based in San Antonio and have further offices in Dallas, Corpus Christi, Georgetown and Houston.

Leading the business as General Manager will be Don Myrick - also General Manager of Texas First Rentals - who said; “Our customers are consistently asking for complete solution packages, not just individual pieces of equipment.

“It eases the burden of running their businesses by offloading the expertise needed to plan out these large, temporary industrial solutions.”

Peter Holt, CEO of Holt, added; “We’ve seen increased rental requests across our businesses and have always been an organisation that pivots to meet the needs of our customers.

“We understand the importance of rentals across the industrial, construction and facilities equipment industries and the role our services can play in the success of these businesses.

“Temporary industrial solutions are critical to keep productivity going at the pace necessary in today’s business landscape, and we are excited to launch this new company.”
