Hartoonian, Crownover Promoted At Hatz

Motorenfabrik Hatz of Ruhstorf, Germany has named Michael Hartoonian president and chief executive officer of Hatz Diesel of America. He will oversee the Waukesha, Wis., company’s North American operations, including Canada.

Hartoonian previously held the position of vice president & general manager and national sales manager at the company. Prior to that, he was director of the Engine Division at Total Energy Systems, worked at EC Power Systems in Seattle, Wash., and was area manager for the western U.S. for the Engine Division of Kohler Co.

Andrew Crownover

Hatz Diesel of America has also named Andrew Crownover as vice president and treasurer, responsible for overseeing all financial matters for the company in North America.

Crownover has served as the company’s chief financial officer for the past several years and has been with Hatz Diesel for more than 20 years after beginning his career as an international tax analyst at Allis-Chalmers Corp.

Hatz Diesel is a supplier of diesel engines from 3 to 78 hp that are used in industrial, construction, military, marine, railroad, turf care, power generation, material handling, agricultural, mining, transportation, forestry and rental equipment applications.
