UK-based David Atkinson, who takes the role of global off-highway support having previously served as customer support manager, will assume responsibility for the delivery of “best-in-class customer support” to Cummins’ agriculture and construction clients.

Described as a veteran in the industry, Atkinson will work closely with regional teams to deliver tailored sales and post-sales support for Cummins’ international clients at a local level.

Phil Dawson, who replaces Annie Schmelzer as Cummins’ global agriculture segment leader, has previously held the roles of account manager and regional sales manager in Cummins’ off-highway European sales team.

His new role will see Dawson lead the company’s agriculture business strategy, while he will also oversee the business’ global agriculture account teams.

Eric Neal, executive director, global off-highway business at Cummins, said, “Over the past several years, Cummins’ off-highway business has experienced strong growth, with David and Phil both being crucial to our success. The off-highway sector, specifically agriculture and construction, continues to operate with complex customer needs and these two appointments are a key part of our strategy to meet this demand for solutions.”
