New Power Progress Summit presenter lineup set

The lineup of presenters is complete for the inaugural New Power Progress Summit, a virtual event which will be held Wednesday, May 26. The NPP Summit will be devoted to the fast-growing world of electrification, hybrids and new power technology for the global vehicle and equipment markets.

The free, two-hour virtual event will be held at 3 p.m. U.K. time, 4 p.m. Central European time and 9 a.m. U.S. Central time.

The final speaker joining the presentation lineup is Julie Marshaus, engineering manager in the eMobility segment of Eaton Corp., who will discuss transmission technologies for medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles. Marshaus has more than 18 years of experience working in hybrid and electrical vehicle technology and had led Eaton’s efforts in designing multi-speed transmissions for medium-duty and heavy-duty electric vehicles.

The other confirmed speakers are:

Jo Bamford, chairman of Wrightbus and founder of Ryse Hydrogen. The keynote speaker, Bamford will discuss the growth and benefits of hydrogen as a power source for off-highway equipment and commercial vehicles.

Kimmo Rauma, vice president, Danfoss Power Solutions, who will speak on developments in electric and hybrid powertrain systems.

Jonathan Wood, vice president of New Power Engineering at Cummins, who will discuss new power options.

Tilo Huber, head of Product Line Construction Machinery Systems at ZF, who will cover intelligent system solutions for zero-emissions drivelines.

The New Power Progress Summit builds on the outstanding success of the first two Diesel Progress Summits which attracted hundreds of visitors from around the world.

The first Diesel Progress Summit attracted more than 300 delegates and was held in 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky. In 2020, the virtual Diesel Progress Summit attracted more than 1400 registrations from 77 countries. Currently, the New Power Progress Summit has more than 700 registrants.
