Deutz Names New Chairman

Deutz AG has announced that Dr. Frank Hiller, 50, will be named to the German engine manufacturer’s board of management and will become chairman on January 1, 2017. Hiller will succeed the current chairman of the board of management, Dr. Helmut Leube, 63, who is retiring on December 31, 2016. The Supervisory Board of Deutz AG is to adopt formal resolutions on these changes at a meeting tomorrow, September 22.
Hiller has been a member of the executive board at MAN Truck & Bus AG since 2009 and of the management board at Leoni AG since 2014. Leoni, Nuremberg, Germany, is a provider of wires, optical fibers, cables, cable systems.
“We are delighted to have appointed someone as the new chairman of the management board of Deutz AG who has considerable experience within our industry both on the engineering side and in sales and marketing,” said Hans-Georg Härter, chairman of the Deutz supervisory board.
