Scania USA Announces Territory Expansions For Engine Distributors

Scania USA has announced several territory expansions for distributors of its industrial and marine diesel engines. The expansions all took effect on September 1.

Scania’s latest Tier 4 final industrial platform is comprised of 9, 13 and 16 L engines ranging between 275 and 770 hp. Scania’s latest marine platform is 13 and 16 L engines for auxiliary and propulsion applications.

Loftin Equipment

Loftin Equipment has been assigned additional territory in the Southeast to include Alabama and Tennessee. The company represents Scania’s latest diesel engines for applications such as stationary, construction, agriculture and pump power solutions used in the oil and gas segments.

Prior to adding the two new states, Loftin Equipment distributed Scania engines in Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.

Mack Boring & Parts Co.

Mack Boring & Parts Co. has extended its territory for Scania industrial engines to include Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. The company currently represents Scania’s latest industrial engine platform in the Northeast.

Mack Boring is a provider of power and propulsion products, including diesel engines and power generation systems, to the recreational and commercial marine, industrial, off highway and military markets. The family-owned business is headquartered in Somerset, N.J.

Following the expansion, the company now represents Scania industrial and marine diesel engines for the entire East Coast of the United States.

Cascade Engine Center LLC

Cascade Engine Center LLC has been assigned additional marine territory in the western United States to include Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah.

Cascade Engine Center currently represents Scania’s latest marine platform and prior to the expansion distributed them in Alaska, Gulf Coast, Hawaii, Idaho, the Inland Waterways Region, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Western Canada.

It is also a distributor for Scania industrial engines, and distributes them in California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Western Canada.
