Parker Launches GlobalCore Hoses

Parker Hannifin has introduced GlobalCore, a new series comprising six hydraulic hosesand two fittings designed to significantly reduces engineering and service complexity by providing a comprehensive product family across the most commonly used constant working pressure classes. GlobalCore hydraulic hoses offer arobust and simple solution and are designed to endure the toughest operating conditions, the company said.

Designed to meet the most common working pressures, GlobalCore is built and tested to twice the ISO 18752 specification ensuring high performance in rugged environments and high-impulse applications, Parker said. The ISO 18752 specification which was developed on how hoses are specified and used by customers – by pressure range, not by construction. GlobalCore expands Parker’s range of ISO 18752 hoses and provides options for the most critical sizes and pressure ranges from 3000 to 6000 psi. Customers can specify various hose covers such as ToughCover or SuperTough cover in addition to the standard format.

Parker said the GlobalCore hoses are manufactured in multiple regions around the world providing prompt and convenient support for the equipment they serve, regardless of where it was originally manufactured, or where it is being utilized.

The GlobalCore system is designed for simplicity and with only six hoses, both OEM and MRO customers can quickly and easily select the most appropriate hose based on working pressure.  Selecting the fitting is also straightforward, with either the 43/48 Series or 77 Series being appropriate depending on the hose and working pressure selected.

Parker’s said its hose design enables it to have half the bend radius of conventional hose, which can make installation and routing much easier. GlobalCore is compatible with Parker’s Parkrimp family of crimpers and features No-Skive, premium abrasion-resistant covers, engineered to help minimize downtime and ensure longer intervals between replacements.
