High Temperature Connector

Ladd Industries, the U.S. distributor of Deutsch industrial products, has released new Deutsch Industrial DTM series connectors designed for heavy-duty, high temperature environments. The connectors are environmentally sealed and expand the range of Deutsch connector options where excessive heat is a factor.

The new DTMH connectors are manufactured from temperature resistant thermoplastic and are designed for applications with temperatures ranging from -67° to 300° F (-55° to 150° C). The expanded temperature range makes the DTMH ideal for use anywhere the electrical system could be exposed to higher than normal temperatures, the company said.

The connectors are available in two-position, inline plugs and receptacles and accept standard no. 20 Deutsch contacts that carry 7.5 amps each. They have integrated, keyed wedgelocks for fast assembly and Deutsch also offers designed-to-fit high temperature straight and 90° backshells for the DTMH connectors.
