Sensing & Controls NewsNew Flexible Sensor Housing![]() German measurement technology specialist Rheintacho has introduced a new sensor kit system that can operate using signals from five types of sensors. The new Five-In-One sensor kits can accept date from inductive measurement sensors, pulse-width modulation sensors, rotary position sensors, two-channel Hall effect sensors and proximity sensors, according to the company. The new system also incorporates a range of optional features, including brass or plastic housings, insertion depths of 35 or 45 mm, cables from 5 cm to 10 m and the ability to use a range of different connector types. Advantages for the user, Rheintacho said, are significant and include the same installation requirements for different sensor signals, custom-designed connection possibilities and housing and cable materials that can be exactly matched for the ambient conditions of each application. |
