Passport to Bauma NewsAnd The Winner Is….ZF to host Excellence in Equipment Engineering Awards ceremony at Bauma  The winners in the second Diesel Progress Excellence in Equipment Engineering balloting will be announced at a ceremony on Wednesday, April 21. The ceremony begins at 1 p.m. at the ZF stand, Hall A4 Booth 213/310. ZF is the sponsor of the Excellence in Equipment Engineering awards program. The awards, which were first presented at ConExpo in 2008, are intended to recognize achievement in the design and engineering of engine-powered machinery. A total of 39 machines were nominated in 13 categories, including medium & heavy construction equipment, compact equipment, lift equipment, roadbuilding machinery and agricultural equipment. The readers of Diesel Progress North American Edition and Diesel Progress International were polled, along with visitors to DP Online, the Diesel Progress web site. More than 9000 votes were cast. The winners will be officially announced at the awards ceremony, as well as in upcoming issues of Diesel Progress North American Edition and Diesel Progress International. |
