Ostarello Named To Navistar Powertrain Post

Navistar International Corp. has appointed Steve Ostarello to vice president of the company’s powertrain product development organization. A 25-year veteran at the company, Ostarello has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility in the company’s engine engineering organization, including his most recent assignment as general manager, powertrain product development. He has been leading the company’s powertrain product development organization on an interim basis since the post was vacated earlier this year.

Previously, Ostarello held a variety of roles in manufacturing, purchasing and engineering including executive leadership positions in the company’s engine engineering organization and he led the company’s vee and inline engine businesses.
