Emissions & Technology NewsDoosan Infracore Portable Power To Sponsor Tier 4 SeminarDoosan Infracore Portable Power will be sponsoring an informational seminar at the upcoming Power-Gen International 2009 show in Las Vegas, Nev., regarding the industry impact of Tier 4 regulations related to portable power products. The seminar will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 10 to 11 a.m., in Room 213 North Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The planned informational seminar will provide a comprehensive overview addressing the background, schedule and summary of regulations, architecture for Tier 4 interim and tactical requirements. Customer challenges will also be addressed along with information on the transition program for equipment manufacturers. The seminar is open to all Power-Gen attendees. The overview will be presented by Todd Howe, global product marketing manager for the mobile generator portfolio at Doosan Infracore Portable Power. Howe is responsible for new product development, strategic planning, product marketing and expansion of Doosan Infracore Portable Power’s global generator business. His industry experience in aftermarket, product support and marketing spans more than 11 years. “Meeting the regulations affects end users, rental companies, dealers and equipment manufacturers in the industry,” said Howe. “And there’s a need for the industry to work collaboratively in order to successfully manage the transition. We perceive challenges and impacts for each of these stakeholders.
