Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Accelerator Pedal Assemblies
The 703 series dual output non-contacting pedal assembly is targeted towards trucks, construction equipment and agricultural machinery. It incorporates Hall effect technology with pulse width modulated (digital) or analog outputs available. Five standard pedal arm configurations are available in metal or plastic for suspended mounting arrangements. With a standard six-pin connector, the 703 series pedals are compact (10.7 inches long and 10.58 oz.), easily accommodating most packaging requirements.
Features include:
- Fully redundant, dual output Hall-effect electrical sensorintegrated into pedal assembly
- Digital or analog output signals allowable
- Dual load/return force generation in compliance with FMVSS 124
- Self adjusting hysteresis control
- Compact size, approximate weight; 300 g
- Six pin connector
- Optional electrical output customization to customer-specific application requirements
- 5 different pedal arm configurations available
Pedal Position Sensors (PPS)
The CTS line of PPS's provides multiple pedal position and switch functions in a common package. In diesel-powered vehicles, the PPS provides input to electronically controlled emissions to meet worldwide standards. With drive-by-wire and traction control systems, the PPS relays feedback information needed to provide fuel economy, safety and traction control, and provides input to throttle lock controls in agricultural, commercial and off-road vehicles. PPS's securely affix to pedals with specially designed pilot hubs and cloaking pins and can be electronically customized to meet your specific requirements. CTS can also provide pedal, bracket and sensor subassemblies. And, common to all CTS sensors, the PPS continues to meet or exceed design and customer specifications as proven through extensive field-testing.
Features include:
- Customer defined outputs
- Up to 3 analog or switch outputs
- Up to 65° electrical output
- Multiple package options
- Clockwise or counterclockwise rotation
- Integrated connector or wire harness
- Choice of mounting configurations
Applications include:
- Agricultural and Construction Equipment
- Heavy, Off-road Equipment
- Any linear position sensing application requiring short stroke
