Portrait bauma 2010
bauma in Munich is the world’s biggest trade fair for the construction industry. The 29th International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment takes place at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre from 19 to 25 April 2010 .
bauma can look back on a successful history dating from 1954. The show has broken many records, in terms of exhibition space, exhibitor numbers and visitor numbers. The biggest and most successful bauma including mining up to now was held in 2007 with 3,002 exhibitors from 49 countries and over 500,000 trade visitors from 191 different countries. Around 155,000 of these visitors travelled to Munich from outside Germany.
In 2010, bauma will also set some new records and is – despite the difficult economic climate – well on track for success: As far as exhibitor registrations are concerned, bauma 2010 will be completely booked. All in all, 555,000 square metres of exhibition space will be covered. Furthermore, all the leading companies and key-players will be attending.
Thus, bauma will be the perfect platform to gather information about all of the industry’s latest developments as well as the latest products from the international construction, building-materials and mining machinery sectors.
