Volvo Truck Deliveries Rose 20% In July
From a global perspective, July was a good month for Volvo Trucks. In that month, the company had truck deliveries of 9959 trucks, an increase of 20% from the the same month last year.
Highlighting the surge was Latin America, where July deliveries increased 59% to 2270 trucks. Deliveries in Brazil increased 77% to 1963 compared with the same period last year.
Europe was also a bright spot, with 3878 vehicles delivered during July, a 26% improvement over July 2012. Meanwhile, July deliveries in North America slipped 1% to 2350 vehicles in comparison with the same period last year.
