Lubrication Hoses

Parker Hannifin’s Parflex Division has developed lubrication hoses specifically designed to make preventive maintenance on all types of equipment quicker and easier. The compact hoses can eliminate gallons of unnecessary ‘in-line’ grease versus larger bore rubber hoses, Parker said, and are a lightweight and flexible alternative to traditional rubber hoses.

Parflex HLB hose operates in temperatures from –40° to 212°F and for extreme temperatures (–100° to 450°F) Parflex 919 PTFE hose can be outfitted with the same style bulkhead grease zerk fitting as the HLB hose, the company said. The wide temperature range of PTFE hose makes it suitable for operating in extreme temperatures, such as on paving equipment where rubber hose can bake and crack, Parker said.

When replacing rubber, Parflex HLB hose can also save $10 to $20 per line in reduced component and installation labor costs and the GK Bulkhead hose fittings, with an integrated nipple, can save an additional $5 to $10 per zerk connection, the company said.

Lubrication hoses are available in 1/8th in. and 3/16ths in. sizes.
