Posted on September 22, 2005

Terex Corp. said it will need additional time to complete its previously announced restatement of financial results from 2000 through 2003. The company had previously said was working to file the documents several days after Sept. 15, 2005, but has now determined that additional items in its financial statements should be reviewed for completeness and accuracy.

The additional review should not impact the company's current cash position, or future income expectations, the company said.. Terex is a global manufacturer of construction and mining equipment headquartered in Westport, Conn.
