Honeywell has expanded its Micro Switch line with the addition of a new range of watertight miniature switches. With an IP67 waterproof seal rating and rated up to 10 amps, Honeywell’s new V15W Series switches are designed to be used in a wide range of high-current industrial applications such as off-road vehicles including ATVs, golf carts and mowers, as well as construction and agricultural machinery, the company said.

The new switches are available in three options – sealed plunger, dust-tight (with epoxy seal on the terminals) and pre-leaded - to provide a broad range of environmental protection levels. Targeting simple or precision on/off applications, the Micro Switch V15W switches incorporate single pole double throw (SPDT) circuitry available in a current range of 0.1 to 10 Amps.
