At its annual Eaton Distributor Meeting (EDM) Eaton has debuted a new line of LPG hose for forklift and medium-duty truck applications. The SC-GTW hose was originally designed for automotive applications in Australia and has been approved by the Australian Gas Association. The hose construction incorporates a conductive Teflon resin tube, a single stainless steel wire braid and a black and blue fire retardant aramid polyester cover.

The hose is designed to be extremely flexible and has a low permeation rate, Eaton said and can be used for butane-propane applications on mobile and stationary LPG engines.
