Yanmar To Build Liquid-Cooled Diesels In China
Yanmar announced it will begin production of liquid-cooled diesel engines in Tsingtao, China, in November. The company said that planned annual output will reach 60,000 units by 2015.
The production will be used to meet demand for compact construction machinery engines, the company said. Yanmar started making single-cylinder diesel engines at the Tsingtao, Shandong Province, facility in 2003. The new engines will be available in the local market and other Asian countries.
