Gen-Set Enclosure Manufacturer AMPS Acquired

Advanced Manufacturing and Power Systems, Inc. (AMPS), a generator set enclosure manufacturer based in Deland, Fla., has been acquired by Pacific International, LLC, part of the Triple Five Group of Companies. No financial details were provided.

Triple Five is a multinational development and finance corporation owns and operates a range of ventures including shopping centers, office buildings, recreation and amusement parks, hospitality projects, casinos, residential developments, commercial and industrial real estate, auto and industrial manufacturing, along with oil & gas and minerals companies.

AMPS specializes in generator enclosures and has been certified by the state of Florida as a High Velocity Hurricane Zone rated manufacturer.  The company also has significant experience with sound attenuation and other specialty technologies and has supplied systems for Macy's New York headquarter, the Brooklyn Performing Arts Center, several New York City public schools and FBI facility. AMPS also manufactures a line of trailer-tank mounted generators.

AMPS will continue to operate from its facility in Deland, about 40 minutes north of Orlando.
