@Agritechnica: STW Introduces New Modules, Pressure Transmitters

Posted on October 29, 2013

Sensor-Technik Wiedemann will launch a new pressure transmitter for mobile working machines at Agritechnica. The new F02 transmitter uses a thin-film measurement cell welded to the pressure adapter and is designed to withstand external influences, vibrations, thermal stress loads to meet EMC requirements, the company said. The F02 transmitter is scheduled to be available in series production at the end of the first quarter 2014.

Also at Agritechnica, STW will introduce two new products in its ESX controller family. The ESX-MBC is a CAN J1939 module for the control of electric motors and other actuators in the power range up to approximately 0.2 kW. The control module has a high power capacity and a flexible range of inputs and will be used in the decentralised control of electric actuators in mobile machinery, especially agricultural, construction and material handling vehicles, the company said. The ESX-MBC has two full bridge outputs to control dc motors with a maximum current of 10 amps.

The ESX-TC3G teleservice module is based on the ESX-TC3 hardware platform some additional features intended to take advantage of telematics in difficult environmental conditions. The module is available in two versions, either with integrated antennas or with connection ports for external antennas that meets protection class IP67 and IP6k9k, STW said.
