JLG Launches Cat-Branded Telehandler Series

Shipping has begun on the Caterpillar-branded TL series telehandlers produced by JLG Industries in an alliance formed with Cat last year. According to JLG, the shipment, which is headed for dealers in North America and Latin America is ahead of schedule. Shipments to Caterpillar dealers in the European, African, Middle Eastern and Asia- Pacific markets started in late July.

The TL telehandlers are based on existing JLG-branded telehandler designs incorporating Caterpillar componentry. The four models are comprised of the TL642, TL943, TL1055, and TL1255. They have a capacity range of 6600 to 12,000 lb. and maximum lift height of 42 to 55 ft. In addition to the TL family, two models of the Belgium produced TH family machines are also now available to the North American and Latin American Caterpillar dealers.

JLG manufactures the telehandlers at its McConnellsburg, Penn. facility.
