New U.S. Headquarters For Chinese Bearing Company

Posted on November 5, 2013

C&U Americas, the North American subsidiary of The C&U Group, China’s largest bearing producer and one of the world’s largest bearing manufacturers, has moved its overall operations to a new and larger facility.

According to C&U Americas, the relocation to the larger facility — also located in Plymouth, Mich. — was necessitated by the company’s growth in the U.S. market and aggressive plans to expand its bearing business throughout the entire NAFTA region. The official relocation date is November 15.

“This new facility will provide our team with over 31,000 sq. ft. of much needed office and warehouse space,” said William A. Childers, C&U Americas president. “This will give us a far greater capacity for inventory and make it easier to distribute bearing products to our OEM and aftermarket customers in the automotive and industrial markets.

“Most importantly, it will allow us to quadruple the size of our R&D department and engineering laboratory to better serve our customers’ needs.”

C&U Americas offers a broad range of bearing types and styles for use in original equipment manufacturing, aftermarket replacement and MRO operations. The C&U portfolio includes over 3000 bearings in a sizes from 1.5 mm inner diameter to 4000mm outer diameter.
