Lubrication Hose

Posted on November 25, 2013

Parker Hannifin’s Parflex Division has developed a range of lubrication hose and tubing designed to enable quick and effective preventive lubrication system maintenance on all types of equipment. The HLB hoses and tubes are engineered to eliminate gallons of unnecessary in-line’ grease and are lightweight and highly flexible, making it an easy to handle alternative to traditional hose, the company said.

When replacing rubber hose, Parker said the HLB hose can save $10 to $20 per line in reduced components and installation labor costs, while the GK Bulkhead hose fitting, with an integrated nipple, can save an additional $5 to $10 per zerk connection.
Parflex HLB hose has an operating temperature range of -40°F up to 212°F and the company also offers a high temperature versions for applications where lubrication lines see temperatures up to 450°F. Sizes range from 1/8 in. to 1 in. inner diameter, depending on design.
