Diesel Progress has announced a publishing alliance with China's CMTM-Construction Machinery Technology Management publishing company for coverage of the Chinese off-highway markets.

The leading Chinese trade publication for China’s burgeoning off-highway markets, CMTM, will be Diesel Progress North American and Diesel Progress International’s editorial and advertising center for China. Likewise, Diesel Progress will be CMTM’s arm for engine, hydraulic, powertrain and vehicle component advertising and news for the global off-highway and commercial vehicle markets in all geographic areas outside of China.

The new publishing alliance was officially signed at a ceremony at the baumaChina exhibition in Shanghai in late November. Signing were Xianbiao Zhou, director of CMTM and Mike Osenga, president of Diesel & Gas Turbine Publications and publisher of Diesel Progress North American and Diesel Progress International.

Also in attendance at the ceremony were Dennis Slater, president of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, Guojian Long vice-chairman of China Construction Machinery Association and Xing Min, standing vice president secretary general of CICEIA—China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association.
