More Changes At Cummins

Cummins Inc. announced new leaders for its global manufacturing operations and its turbocharger manufacturing subsidiary. Jim Lyons has been named vice president - chief manufacturing officer, responsible for improving the company's worldwide manufacturing performance with an emphasis on delivery, schedule stability and attainment and waste reduction. He will also be responsible for Cummins' health, safety and environmental organization.

Lyons has been with Cummins for 38 years, most recently serving as president of Cummins Turbo Technologies. He is being succeeded in that role by Tracee Embree, who has served as general manager-Asia for CTT since July 2011. Embree will take over CTT leadership Jan. 1, 2012.

Prior to her time in CTT, Embree worked in the MidRange Engine Business where she was responsible for the on-highway line of business for two years. She joined Cummins in 2000 and has held a variety of roles including marketing and sales positions in the Emission Solutions and Filtration businesses, general manager of the gen-set company for the Energy Solutions Business in Power Generation and executive director of the company's business with Chrysler.
