Holt New President And CEO At NxtGen Emission Controls

Posted on November 7, 2007

NxtGen Emission Controls, Inc. announced the appointment of Jeremy Holt to president and chief executive officer (CEO) and a director of the board. NxtGen is an emergent developer and supplier of emissions control devices and systems to address diesel emissions challenges related to NOx and particulate matter in light- and heavy-duty diesel engines.

The NxtGen technology is being developed as an alternative to selective catalytic reduction (SCR). The NxtGen system uses highly reactive combination of hydrogen and carbon monoxide created from diesel fuel, called “syngas.” The syngas generator does not require the use of catalysts or different fluids on the vehicle. The system are engineered to leverage the non-catalytic syngas creation and control to allow for fast cycle active regeneration of lean NOx traps and particulate filters.

Previously, Holt was president at Ricardo North America.
