ACRO Lights has introduced new light enclosures that were designed and built for extreme conditions. The 200 Series enclosure can be ordered empty or with the company’s own HID or LED lights.
Used in tough applications such as fire-fighting dozers, the 200 Series light enclosure is laser cut from 3/16 in. thick 1018 steel to withstand severe impacts. The hardware and locking nuts can handle extreme vibration, said the company, and the protective door is opened with a quick-release pin for lens cleaning and light adjustment. The mounting bracket can be orientated for left- or right-hand application and offers both horizontal and vertical adjustment.
Available in several standard sizes, the same box can hold ACRO Lights’ new premium 4000 lumen 7 in. round LED lights or its rectangular and round HID lights (the A1835 HID light is shown).
ACRO Lights assembles the enclosures and many of the lights at its factory in Whittier, Calif., and each is serial numbered. The company has offered a complete rebuild program on its HID lights for years.
The enclosures have a black powder-coat finish and they can be made with custom finishes and sizes to match the application.
