Chinese Off-Highway Technology Conference Announced
As part of the upcoming China International Parts & Components Exhibition for Construction Equipment 2013 (PCECE 2013) at the Hunan International Convention & Exhibition Center in Changsha, China June 21-23, organizers have announced there will be a new conference, the China Construction Machinery Technology Development Summit (CTO Summit).
To be held on June 20th, the day before PCECE begins, at the Shengjuefeisi Hotel in Changsha, the CTO Summit will cover a variety of technical subjects of interest to construction equipment manufacturers.
Among the subjects scheduled to be presented are: Engines -- pollution controls, efficiency and energy saving; Hybrid Power -- latest in hybrid power research; Hydraulics -- hydraulic technology and control technology; Transmissions -- latest in Transmission technology; Controls -- control technology, energy saving and environmental protection; and Materials -- new material to promote the development of construction machinery industry.
Also scheduled are: Design techniques -- a road map of China machinery industry innovation; Manufacturing technology -- advanced technology guarantee the product quality, as well as 3d print technique and revolution of construction machinery manufacturing; Information technology: Supply chain management; and Inspiration from space technology and its application prospects for construction machinery.
Organizers say they expect 1600 booths, 600 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors. The show has engine, powertrain, hydraulic and component manufacturers exhibiting and off-highway engine-powered equipment manufacturers as attendees.
Changsha, the capital city of Hunan, is one of the centers in China for construction machinery. Zoomlion, Sany and Sunward, are headquartered or have operations there. Organizers report that there are 23 other construction machinery manufacturers in Changsha.
PCECE is supported by the China Machinery Industry Federation. Sponsors include the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, the People’s Government of Changsha City, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Hunan Sub-Council, and the Hunan Machinery Industry Administration Bureau.
Organizers include the Changsha National Economic & Technical Development Zone, the Changsha Commerce Bureau, Changsha Convention & Exhibition Management Office, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Changsha Branch.
