Williams Controls Promotes VP Of Manufacturing

Williams Controls Inc., an electronic throttle control systems producer for the heavy truck, bus and off-road markets has promoted Ken Hendrickson to vice president - manufacturing.

Hendrickson will be responsible for managing the company’s global manufacturing operations in Portland, Ore., Suzhou, China, and Pune, India. He replaces Gary Hafner, who retired after 11 years with Williams Controls. Hendrickson will report to, Patrick Cavanagh, the company’s president and CEO.

Hendrickson joined Williams Controls in 2007 as director of quality. In that position, he helped develop and implement consistent manufacturing processes worldwide. During his tenure, Hendrickson’s work helped the company earn additional quality certification and recognition from customers and regulators alike.

Before Williams Controls, Hendrickson worked for Johnson Controls in several leadership positions, including focus factory manager, continuous improvement manager and the leadership development group.
