Aaron Jagdfeld, chief financial officer (CFO) for Generac Power Systems, has been named president of the corporation as part of the management transition brought about by the sale of the company and the retirement of Robert D. Kern. Jagdfeld, began his career as an auditor in the Milwaukee office of public accounting firm Deloitte & Touche. He joined Generac in June of 1994 as a staff accountant and will continue to handle the responsibilities of CFO.

“This is a well-deserved recognition of Aaron’s abilities and his vision for Generac’s future,” said Generac Chief Operating Officer Dawn Tabat. “He has been instrumental in the growth of the company and a strong member of our management team. He played a key role in positioning our company for sale last year and was directly involved in every aspect of the process, from the initial offering to the final closing.”

“Our affiliation with CCMP Capital will help us take this company to the next level,” said Jagdfeld. “They recognize the outstanding possibilities we have to grow this business and are committed to achieving new levels of success. Their resources and expertise will help us take advantage of new opportunities and expanding markets for our products. It is a great honor to be chosen as President at such an exciting time.”
