ZF’s Focus On Efficiency
For ZF, bauma 2013 will be focused on the topic of efficiency. The company will center its display around its Efficiency Package, featuring Ergopower transmissions, the cPOWER continuously variable transmission and the ZF Hybrid module. According to ZF, all these solutions represent a view into the future of more efficient working machines.
ZF’s Efficiency Package is mainly intended for wheel loader applications, for which it can offer up to 15% less fuel consumption and up to 40% more productivity, according to the company.
The cPOWER transmission is a full power-split concept that leverages the experience CVT technology has gained in agricultural applications to deliver a much as a 25 % reduction in fuel consumption for construction machinery applications, said ZF
Finally ZF will exhibit its Hybrid Module, available for all ZF transmissions for direct or separate transmission mounting. ZF said the hybrid system is another example of technology to be used for achieving considerable reduction of fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, while increasing the machine’s work output.
