Liebherr Forms New Subsidiary In Mexico
The Liebherr Group has founded a new sales and service subsidiary in Mexico. Liebherr Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V was established as a subsidiary of Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH of Ehingen (Germany), and will initially be responsible for the direct sale and service of Liebherr mobile cranes in Mexico and the other countries of Central America.
Until now, these products have been supported in Mexico by Nortrack de México. The cooperation between the two companies officially ended at the end of 2012.
Liebherr said the founding of Liebherr Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. underlines the growing importance of this market for Liebherr’s mobile and crawler cranes. In the future, Liebherr Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. will also act as a platform for the activities of the other Liebherr construction machinery divisions, the company said.
Liebherr Group has two other subsidiaries in Mexico. Liebherr Monterrey, S. de R.L. de C.V. in Monterrey is responsible for the production of drive technology components. Liebherr Servicios Monterrey, S. de R.L. de C.V. is the local service subsidiary for components.
