Full Hybrid Transmission
Transfluid will introduce a full hybrid transmission system for mobile equipment or marine applications at bauma 2013. The HM-560 hybrid module combined with Transfluid’s HT-700 transmission is a hybrid solution targeting low to medium engine power applications, the company said.
The HM-560 hybrid module is designed to be coupled to any internal combustion engine with an SAE housing and flywheel up to 140 kW. An electric motor with a power output up to 20 kW works as a motor or as a generator to charge a set of batteries. The system also incorporates a hydraulic or pneumatic clutch that engages or disengages the main engine from the driveline.
Transfluid said the electric motor can be positioned with a rotation of 360° to find the best location inside a vehicle or a boat, with the only restriction being an available space of 300 mm between engine and transmission. This also makes the solution suitable for retrofitting existing transmission configurations, the company said.
The hybrid module can be combined with Transfluid’s HT-700 powershift transmission, with a capacity of 95 kW, or it can be coupled to any kind of transmission having the same SAE standard.
Transfluid is in Hall A4, booth 406.
