Management Changes At Environmental Solutions Worldwide

The Board of Directors of Environmental Solutions Worldwide, Inc. announced that David J. Johnson, president and chief executive officer, was to leave his position and resign from the company’s board, effective March 9. Executive Chairman Mark Yung would take the interim lead in the company’s day-to-day affairs. Johnson will provide consulting assistance to ESW until year end 2011 to ensure a fluid transition.

Also effective March 9, ESW promoted Frank Haas to chief technology and regulatory officer, Virendra Kumar to vice president of Operations, and Praveen Nair to chief financial officer. Kumar replaces Stefan Boekamp, who resigned on March 11, 2011. Haas has been with ESW since 2001 and has been integral in the development of the company’s various catalyst products.

Headquartered in Concord, Ontario, Environmental Solutions Worldwide manufactures a line of catalytic emission control products and support technologies for diesel, gasoline and alternative fueled engines.
