Bharat Earth Movers In Talks With Terex

Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. is in talks with U.S.-based heavy equipment maker Terex Corp. concerning the manufacturing of dump trucks in India, the Indian state-run firm's chairman said. According to a report from Reuters, the potential manufacturing arrangement is part of Bharat’s aggressive growth strategies, which also includes an issue of $112 million in new public shares later this year. Bharat is a manufacturer of mining, defense and rail equipment.
