Moore To Retire At Volvo Penta Americas

Posted on June 5, 2012

Volvo Penta has announced that Clint Moore has decided to retire as president of Volvo Penta of the Americas after more than 15 years of service. His retirement is effective Sept. 1.

The recruitment process to find Moore´s successor has been initiated and is expected to be finalized during the third quarter, the company said.

In addition, Volvo Penta said it has decided to merge its North American, Latin American and South American operations into the newly formed Region America with sales and aftermarket responsibility. This change is being made to harmonize Volvo Penta’s structure with a major reorganization last year of the Volvo Group´s global structure.

Moore´s successor will take on the responsibility for this newly consolidated region as well as the segment responsibility for Volvo Penta´s marine gasoline engines.
