Jacobs Vehicle Systems Appoints VP Of Global Operations
Jacobs Vehicle Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Danaher Corp. has appointed of Keith Burton as vice president of Global Operations. Burton will play a central role in leading the efforts of operations supply management for the North America and China markets.
Burton joined Danaher in April and Jacobs Vehicle Systems said, has since completed an extensive immersion process to understand the Danaher Business System processes and tools.
Prior to joining JVS, Burton spent five years as the general manager and vice president of Manufacturing for HON/HNI managing two manufacturing facilities in Iowa and Kentucky.
Previous to HON/HNI, Burton held various positions in the heavy truck and automotive industry. As the director of Operations for SDST Burton led the start-up for Diesel Fuel Injectors, a joint venture between International and Siemens. Prior to SDST, he was employed for 17 years at Detroit Diesel in various roles of increasing responsibilities.Edit Module
