Sun Hydraulics Names Chairman

Sun Hydraulics Corp., Sarasota, Fla., a manufacturer of hydraulic valves and manifolds, said its board of directors has named Ferdinand E. Megerlin as its chairman. Megerlin succeeds Clyde G. Nixon, who served as chairman from 2000 until his death earlier this year. Megerlin has served on the board since 1998, most recently holding the position of vice chairman, Sun Hydraulics said.
