Two Cool Orders For Modine

Modine Manufacturing Co. said it has won a new program from International Truck and Engine Corp. to supply lube oil coolers and diesel fuel cooler modules, for the 2007 6.4L Power Stroke diesel engines used in heavy duty F-Series pickup trucks. The order is expected to generate sales exceeding $35.0 million per year to Modine for the three years of the program, the company said.

In addition to the base fuel cooler, Modine developed and will assemble a fuel cooler module with associated brackets. These products will be manufactured at Modine's Lawrenceburg, Tennessee facility beginning in August, 2006.

International anticipates the annual volume to be more than 330,000 units.

Modine also said it has received a three-year, $15 million contract to supply exhaust gas recirculating coolers for a the MAN Group. The parts will be made at the Modine plant in Mezokovsed, Hungary, and shipped MAN’s Nuremberg, Germany operations. The coolers will be used mostly for two new MAN four- and six-cylinder engines.
