Update: Linde Hydraulics Realigns Management
Just a week after the supervisory board of Linde Hydraulics GmbH & Co. KG named the former Bosch Rexroth chairman as its new chairman, the company announced two additional senior executive appointments.
Current Chief Financial Officer Dr. Jörg Ulrich (right) now also takes over the role of chief executive officer. At the same time, Dr. Steffen Appel, who currently leads production and purchasing as chief operating officer, will also be responsible for Research & Development.
Janfried A. Tirre (left), newly appointed member of the Linde Hydraulics executive management team, will become the company’s chief sales officer and lead global sales activities. He succeeds Thorsten van der Tuuk, who is leaving Linde Hydraulics after five years to pursue new professional opportunities.
Tirre has more than 20 years of experience in the hydraulics business. Most recently, he was responsible for strategy and planning for the hydraulics sector at Chinese mechanical engineering enterprise Weichai Power, which has been the principal owner of Linde Hydraulics since 2012.
Prior to that role, Tirre held various management positions at Sauer-Danfoss, which involved leading the sales and marketing activities for the entire Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, as well as establishing and managing the organization in China as the President of the Chinese division.
These moves follow the appointment by the supervisory board of Helmut Wagener as its new chairman. Wagener, 63, served as chairman of the Bosch Rexroth AG Hydraulics Business Management Board until 2010.
