Ritchie Bros. President Retires
Rob Mackay, president of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, will retire effective Oct.31. Mackay, who has served at the company for 28 years in various capacities, Mackay is transitioning from day-to-day duties and will retire fully as of that date. No successor has been named, but succession planning is underway, the company said.
Earlier in the year, Mackay took a role on the board of an agricultural equipment dealer with a view to transition to the next phase in his business career.
Ritchie Bros. is considered the world's largest seller of used equipment for the construction, transportation, agriculture, material handling, energy, mining, forestry and marine industries.
