Bobcat Expands Bismarck: Tier 4 Engine Assembly Ahead
Bobcat Co. announced that it has recently has completed a $6.5 million renovation at its Bismarck, N.D., production facility that on the short term will enable the company to more efficiently manufacture attachments for its compact machinery but longer term will include Tier 4 diesel engine assembly.
Attachment production moved to Bismarck as part of an operations expansion last year. Other factory operations include engine assembly, kitting and sub-assembly, parts control, warehousing and some compact loader assembly. Future plans include a phase-in of the Doosan diesel engines currently being built by Doosan in South Korea, the company said. Doosan is Bobcat's parent company.
